A Quick Guide to Orlando Dinner Shows

Dinner shows in Orlando are almost as popular and plentiful as the theme parks themselves, but with so many options, how do you find the one that best fits the needs of your family?

Orlando Dinner Shows 101: Buyer’s Guide - Orlando

The Pirates Dinner Adventure set is a replica of an old Spanish Galleon ship.

From dinner shows that make you laugh out loud to shows that put you right in the heart of the story, your family has got options in Orlando. Getting your perfect Orlando show tickets is a breeze with our quick dinner show guide. So what are you in for?

Horses, Knights, and Action
Medieval Times tells the tale of the King, Don Carlos, as you join his royal table. There are knights and food you have to eat with your hands (It is the Middle Ages by the way.) You’ll see sparks fly as weapons collide in daring sword fights within the walls of the Castle, but some of the most impressive performances are from the horses. You’ll find Quarter horses, Menorcans, Friesians, and of course the Pure Spanish Horse. See knights strut their horse so gracefully around the arena as well as charging towards an enemy knight in a thrilling jousting match. Action, beauty, and meal fit for a king and your kids.

Pirates, Gypsies, and a Sea Dragon
The Pirates Dinner Adventure, which is geared towards families, is truly unique with its setting (a pirate ship in a 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon) and features lot of action and fighting over the gorgeous Princess Anita. There are aerialist gypsies, interactivity for your kids, and a sea dragon. Do you want to join a pirate crew?

Sword fights, Variety Acts, and Adventure
If you are looking for a legendary adventure, check out The 3 Musketeers Dinner Show. The new adventure also inside the Pirates arena centers around four men trying to rescue a damsel in distress as she embarks on her wedding voyage.  There will be sword fights, aerobatics, comedy, romance and the legendary tale of Alexandre Dumas’ The 3 Musketeers.

Magic show, Pizza, and WonderWorks Exhibits

Another dinner show great for families, especially some with older children is the Outta Control Comedy Dinner at WonderWorks Orlando. Families chow down on some fresh popcorn before a feast of unlimited pizza pies and salad. The Outta Control Comedy Dinner Show combines magic, impersonations and high-energy improv that is sure to be a crowd pleaser for the entire family. Plus, get the combo ticket and after the show experience WonderWorks with over 100 mind-boggling exhibits, including the ropes course, the 4D Theater, and a game of Lazer Tag! This is an absolutely great way to spend a night in Orlando.

Teens and Young Adults
For the inquisitive minds, the ever-popular Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show just might fit the bill. Here, you become part of the show as you help investigate a crime along with the cast and your fellow tablemates, meaning that this is a truly unique experience each and every show. This is also a great date night show; it’s fun, interactive, and beer and wine are included! Can you read the signs and piece together the clues to solve the murder?

Date Night Only
And finally, if you are looking for an adults-only night on the town, the Treasure Tavern Dinner Show combines a three-course fine dining dinner with entertainers from around the world performing a European-style variety show. Be sure to leave the kids at home for this show that features a bit of everything from comedy to action to romance.

There is a dinner show for everyone in Central Florida, so be sure to reserve one – or more – of these unique dining experiences in Orlando on the itinerary of your next vacation right here at!
