Dinner Shows
Our No. 1 dinner show recommendation for April is a family-favorite in Orlando, Blue Man Group! This performance, located at Universal CityWalk, is an experience for the senses, with blue-painted men entertaining guests with a mixture of music, comedy, improvisation and the infamous splattering paint. This small, intimate theater means that everyone gets to partake in the action, and it’s the perfect addition to your Central Florida itinerary, whether or not you are staying at the Universal Orlando Resort. Amway Center
The Amway Center has a jam-packed month of events, with a slew of concerts and acts visiting the City Beautiful, as Bad Bunny (Apr. 11) and 2Cellos (Apr. 14) bring their tours to Central Florida. The Orlando Magic finish out the regular season with matchups against the New York Knicks (Apr. 3) and Atlanta Hawks (Apr. 5), while the Orlando Solar Bears play host to three home games and the Orlando Predators kick off their season at home Apr. 13 against the Columbus Lions.    

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts 
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts always has a diverse collection of shows playing, and April is no different, with a variety of concerts and shows taking center stage. Among those playing in the venue include: Derek Hough: Live! The Tour (Apr. 11), Dear Evan Hansen (Apr. 16-21), Arcadian Broad’s Wonderland: Mad Tales of the Hatter (Apr. 26-28) and The Temptations & The Four Tops (Apr. 30).

Theme Parks
The local theme parks are jam-packed with entertainment during April with the continuation of SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival and Disney’s Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Every day through June 3, 2019, guests at Walt Disney World can enjoy the return of the popular festival, featuring world-renowned Disney-themed topiaries, garden spaces, wildlife habitats, experiential exhibits and the popular outdoor kitchens, this festival is one that can’t be missed! In addition, 270 concerts will be performed at the Garden Rocks Concert Series, where artists such as Rick Springfield, Christopher Cross, John Michael Montgomery, Sister Hazel, Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac and Lonestar will be playing throughout the month of April. 

SeaWorld Orlando continues its adventure for your senses with the Seven Seas Food Festival throughout the month of April. Sample your way around international street food marketplaces every Friday through Sunday, plus enjoy live performances from top names in the rock, rap, Latin, Christian and country music industries every Saturday and Sunday. 

All performances for these two festivals are included with park admission.
