Amway Center
The Amway Center has a jam-packed month of events, beginning with a slew of headlining concerts and acts visiting the City Beautiful in the next 31 days. David Jeremiah (Oct. 1), Thomas Rhett (Oct. 5), Maluma (Oct. 10), Gracias Christmas Cantata (Oct. 14), Marco Antonio Solis (Oct. 20), The Chainsmokers (Oct. 26) and Juan Luis Guerra (Oct. 27) will be bringing their talents to this downtown area in October. The Orlando Magic return to the Amway Center with three preseason and two regular season games in October as well, while the Orlando Solar Bears kick off their season with four contests at home during the month.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts always has a diverse collection of shows playing, and October is no different, with a variety of concerts and shows taking center stage. Among those playing in the venue include: Baby Shark Live! (Oct. 4), Wayne Brady (Oct. 12), Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (Oct. 18), Alison Krauss (Oct. 19), Les Misérables (Oct. 22-27) and Orlando Ballet’s Vampire’s Ball (Oct. 31-Nov. 3).

Theme Parks
The Walt Disney World Resort is heading straight from summer to the fall with some of the most popular special events that Disney has to offer! The highly-anticipated Epcot International Food & Wine Festival continues throughout the entire month of October, giving guests a culinary journey through the world and some of the most popular artists in the past few decades with the Eat to the Beat concert series! Also ushering in fall at the Magic Kingdom Park is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, which takes over the park on select nights throughout October, giving families the chance to experience the park’s top attractions, special shows, fireworks and a parade coupled with unlimited trick-or-treating. A new nighttime spectacular also debuted in early October at Epcot – Epcot Forever replaces Illuminations: Reflections of Earth with new pyrotechnics, throwback music and a message about the past and future of the park.

Another one of the fall staples in Orlando is Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. This special ticketed event features scare zones, more haunted houses than ever before, sinister entertainment and trick-or-treating like you’ve never seen before! This event is one of the most popular events to hit Orlando each year, so be sure to get your tickets early before they sell out!

SeaWorld Orlando is also getting into the fall spirit with their own Halloween Spooktacular and Craft Beer Festival events! The Halloween Spooktacular is a family-friendly event featuring trick-or-treating, an all-new Sesame Street Halloween Parade and more every weekend in October. Also taking place weekends throughout the month, the Craft Beer Festival allows guests to sample over 100 craft brews expertly paired with more than 20 unique food items.

This is only the beginning of the fun your family can have in Orlando this October. But before you come, check out all the savings you can get right here to make your family getaway more affordable!
