Dinner Shows
Our No. 1 recommendation for October is Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show. The Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show is an all-encompassing experience, including both dinner and entertainment. At Sleuths, you become part of the show as you help solve a crime along with the cast and your tablemates while also partaking in a delectable three-course meal. This longest-running mystery dinner show in Orlando will leave you both stumped and entertained as you try to figure out who committed the crime! Experience them all at a savings of 25 percent if you purchase your tickets here at Orlando.ShowTickets.com, with prices starting at just $49!

The honorable mentions for October are Blue Man Group and Medieval Times, both of which can be experienced at a discount price exclusively from Orlando.ShowTickets.com!

Amway Center
The Amway Center has a jam-packed lineup for the month of October. The NBA’s Orlando Magic return with three preseason and three regular season games, with high-profile opponents such as the Cleveland Cavaliers (Oct. 13), San Antonio Spurs (Oct. 24) and Miami Heat (Oct. 18) bringing some of the world’s best basketball players to the Amway Center. In addition to basketball, the Orlando Solar Bears open up their 2017-18 season with a pair of home games on the ice Oct. 28-29.

Five major concerts also await fans of all musical genres in October, with Bruno Mars (Oct. 14), Ricardo Arjona (Oct. 15), Tim McGraw and Faith Hill (Oct. 21), Halsey (Oct. 22) and Santana (Oct. 26) bringing their talents to Orlando.

Fans of MLS soccer will have one final opportunity to see Orlando’s team in October, with the team’s home finale on Sunday, Oct. 15 against the Columbus Crew.

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts always has a diverse collection of shows playing, and October is no different, with a variety of concerts and shows taking center stage. Among those playing in the venue include: Markiplier’s You’re Welcome Tour (Oct. 14), Willie Nelson & Family (Oct. 15), On Your Feet! The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Musical (Oct. 17-22) and Swan Lake (Oct. 27-29).

Theme Parks
Fans of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival have even more reason to cheer this year – not only is the festival back, but it is longer than ever! In addition to the record 75 days of the annual event this fall (up from 62 in 2016), there are 30 “marketplaces” with international food and wine pairings and 32 musical acts in this year’s Eat to the Beat concert series. The following concerts will take place in the America Gardens Theater at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 p.m. every day of the month in October: Dennis DeYoung: The music of STYX (Oct. 9-11), Taylor Dayne (Oct. 12-13), Jeffrey Osborne (Oct. 14-15), Postmodern Jukebox (Oct. 16-17), 10,000 Maniacs (Oct. 18-20), Toad The Wet Sprocket (Oct. 21-22), Kenny G (Oct. 23-24), Billy Ocean (Oct. 25-26), Tiffany (Oct. 27-29) and Hanson (Oct. 30-Nov. 1).

The local theme parks are also celebrating Halloween with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. Both parties are separate ticket events that happen after regular park hours.

Whether you’re visiting Central Florida for fall break or a quick getaway for Halloween, there’s no better place to celebrate fall than in Central Florida!
