Dinner Shows
Our top recommended show is the exciting Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show, which has the distinction of being the longest-running dinner show in Orlando! Solve a crime – while feasting on everythin from prome rib to gooey slabs of lasagna.

Amway Center
The Amway Center has a jam-packed lineup for the month of December, with events on 18 of the 31 days of the month. Sports fill a large portion of that calendar, with the NBA’s Orlando Magic back in action for the third month of the regular season with eight home games, including contests against the Golden State Warriors, L.A. Clippers and Miami Heat, while the Orlando Solar Bears hockey team plays in front of its home crowd five times.

Other events in the arena in December include Gabriel Iglesias (Dec. 2), the Harlem Globetrotters (Dec. 9), Ozuna & Wisin (Dec. 14), the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Dec. 16) and Katy Perry (Dec. 17).

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts always has a diverse collection of shows playing, and December is no different, with a variety of concerts and performances taking center stage. Among those playing in the venue include: The Book of Mormon (Dec. 12-17), The Nutcracker (Dec. 21-24), The Nutcracker Family Show (Dec. 23) and The School of Rock (Dec. 26-31).

Theme Parks
The Walt Disney World Resort is full of holiday events in December, beginning with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, a separate ticketed event that includes holiday parades, shows, entertainment and all the hot chocolate and cookies you can eat on select nights! Epcot gets into the spirit as well with Holidays Around the World, featuring the Candlelight Processional, holiday events and a special holiday finale to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. In addition, Disney’s Hollywood Studios gets into the holiday spirit with their nighttime Christmas show, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, and the new Sunset Seasons Greetings holidays celebration on Sunset Blvd.

At Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Florida comes alive with the Macy’s Holiday Parade, while Grinchmas takes over Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Meanwhile, SeaWorld has a Christmas celebration featuring entertainment, holiday food, live shows and even meet-and-greets with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

With all of these holiday-themed shows and events this December in Central Florida, your family will be singing “Joy to the world!” Bring some Yuletide to your holiday season this year with Orlando.ShowTickets.com!
