With a New Year come New Year’s resolutions for many. While some resolutions may not stick around, some can easily be accomplished. If saving money, traveling or trying something new is at the top of your list, let help! With our discounted dinner shows and Orlando entertainment, we can help save your family money on multiple attractions in the country’s premier tourist destination, allowing you to take your money further and enjoy more during your next vacation!

Our No. 1 Pick

January is the perfect month to enjoy our No. 1 pick, Blue Man Group. This resident show located in the Sharp Aquos Theatre takes place in a small and intimate setting, but the show itself is larger-than-life! Whether you are in the “splash zone” or the back row, there is no bad seat in the house for this one hour and 45-minute performance. Guests can expect a mixture of different elements and acts – there are heart-pumping percussion sections where the blue men make music with everything from drums to pipes, but there are unexpected times of comedy as well, and a few lucky people in the audience even get to be a part of the show! If you aren’t one of the lucky few, however, everyone still gets into the act towards the end of the show, when the entire audience is given instructions of how to act at a rock concert while a crazy dance party ensues, complete with gigantic balls that light up dropping from the ceiling and music that could make even the most uncoordinated shake to the beat. Also a special month to see Blue Man Group, the show will go sensory friendly for the second annual autism friendly show on January 21.

Honorable Mention

The honorable mentions for January are Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba and the Outta Control Comedy Dinner Show. Located at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort, La Nouba uses two groups of characters to perform contemporary circus acts to dazzle crowds night after night. La Nouba is a sensory overload from beginning to end, as the current nine acts are sandwiched with performances from two clowns to keep the energy up for the entirety of the show. If you haven’t seen the show’s two newest acts – the first being a high-energy trio of B-Boys, and a second, a high-wire duo that uses a stainless steel aerial pole to perform a variety of tricks while suspended from the ceiling – now is the time to see the show.

If you are looking for an entire day of fun at a discounted price, the Outta Control Comedy Dinner Show is the place for you! In addition to experiencing WonderWorks’ over 100 mind-boggling exhibits, at the show itself, families will dine on favorites such as pizza and popcorn while an entertainer conducts a show that combines magic, impersonations and high-energy improv.

If you haven’t already, make your New Year’s resolution to visit these shows, and many more, on your next vacation to the City Beautiful courtesy of!
